On the evening of the 23rd of March the Battersea Community gathered to remember the 126,000 deaths from Covid over the last year and 2.73 million deaths worldwide in the same year.  Even yesterday London lost another 96 people through COVID.

 

The community gathered to pause and sang a hymn of trust in God before returning to their studies in the house.

 

A COVID Prayer

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy
in this time of uncertainty and distress.
Sustain and support the anxious and fearful,
and raise up all who are brought low;
that we may be strengthened in faith

And support each other in hope
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
